Thankful for Eldo

Cheryl and I have been visiting El Dorado Park for years and we thought it was time to share our little adventures with all of you.

This is our first post and we have no idea what we will do in the future, but we will try to keep it pleasing to the eyes (through photographs).

We hope you will come back and join us time and again as we venture in around Eldo... maybe, we'll even see you on the trails.

The photographs below were taken over Thanksgiving weekend and should give you a taste of just what you can see on any given day at the El Dorado Park Nature Center.

A little bit of color and other cool sights:

Critters - In no particular order... Snowy Egret, Coopers Hawk, red eared slider turtle, green heron, great egret, warbling vireo, wood duck, mallard, western swift (blue belly lizard), squirrel and more...

Yes, we (mostly Cheryl) took all of the pictures above and everything you see here, we saw over Thanksgiving. Pretty amazing for a place that exists in the midst of a major city in So. Cal, don't you think?

More to come... See you on the trail!
